PROCTOR 5th ST DETOUR BEGIN’S MAY 13TH:

An unexpected pipe repair on 5th St in Proctor will cause a closure of 5th St at
Boundary Ave forcing a detour for approximately 2 weeks.
Route 109 North of Kwik Trip: Regular route to 2nd Ave in Proctor. Follow to 2nd Ave
to 4th St turn left. Follow 4th St to 3rd Ave turn right. Turn right on 5th St to 2nd Ave turn
right. Take 2nd Ave back to 2nd St turn left. Take 2nd St to Boundary Ave turn right and
resume regular route.

Routing Changes for #109 Begin May 19th due to bridge closure at 40th Avenue West

Beginning May 19^th, service will not be provided to from 40^th Avenue west to the intersection of Ramsey and Bristol.  This service change is expected to last for the foreseeable future, and is due to the unexpected 40^th Avenue Bridge closure and how it disrupts our scheduled routing.  Service returns to Super One on Bristol street as a result of this change.

East 3rd Street Bus Stops Temporarily Closed

Bus stops Between 6th Avenue East and 2nd Ave East are temporarily closed due to a construction project.  Passengers can board at all other stops on 6th Ave East or 2nd Ave.  Those looking to take the 104 can use 4th Street for trips heading towards downtown.

Duluth Air Show Detour – Route 108 May 18th and 19th:

On May 18th and 19th, 2024 The Duluth Air and Aviation Expo will take place at and around the Duluth International Airport. Due to anticipated and significant congestion around the airport the DTA will be shortening its 108 Route service in the Mall Area with Burning Tree Super One being the end point until after 6:30 pm on both days.

We plan on the trips starting at 6pm at the Transit Center will plan on continuing to the Airport and resume regular routing for the rest of the service day on both days. Riders seeking destinations further than Burning Tree Super One along the 108 Route will need to seek alternate forms of transportation during this service adjustment.

Plaza Bus Shelters Temporary Removal May 2024:

Do a Road construction project, our DTA bus shelters near the Plaza Super One and Walgreens have temporarily been removed until construction has completed.  The stops are still active during this time unless construction equipment is blocking them.  In that scenario, passengers can board further east or west along Superior Street.
