Blue Line ends on the East Side at 24^th Ave E and Superior St. Service to UMD temporarily paused for summer.  Riders are advised to use 103, 104, 105, 106, and 112 to access UMD.

On the west side of Duluth, Blue Line will detour around 40^th and Grand for the duration of the summer.

Route 103 will not serve Morely Heights, but will provide service on Snively Rd. It will express (using I-35) from Downtown to 40^th Avenue west in a similar fashion to Route 109.

Route 103 will follow the same detour as blue line from 46^th and Grand to 40^th avenue West and W Superior St.

Route 112 gets approximately a ten-minute earlier shift across the board to improve connectivity with all other routes.

211 receives approximately 1 minute shifted between a couple time points to improve route timeliness but is largely very much the same. One time point has been removed from the listings to improve route timeliness as well, but the routing has not changed just the listing of the time point.

The hand updated hand schedules for the Blue Line and Route 103 will be marked with orange to indicate they are the temporary summer versions of these schedules, which we plan to revert to more familiar routing as construction concludes in the fall. These and the other two hand schedules will be available on our service alerts webpage as well to preview.  Below is a system map reflecting the shortened Blue Line routing, along with the modified express service for route 103:

ROUTE 113 – RAILROAD ST./SOUTH LAKE AVE. DETOUR

Effective immediately, construction along Railroad Street near South Lake Avenue will require a detour for outbound Park Point Route 113 buses. The detour will be as follows:

Outbound Route 113 (From Downtown): Regular route to Lake Avenue and Railroad Street, then detour by continuing straight on Lake Avenue, which turns into Canal Park Drive as soon as you cross the intersection. Follow Canal Park Drive to Buchanan Street, turn right and follow to South Lake Avenue, turn left and continue to Park Point on regular route.

A temporary bus stop will be placed on Canal Park Drive south of Railroad Street near the gas station.

Inbound Route 113 (To Downtown): Regular route. No detour required.

This detour is expected to last approximately one month.

West Superior Street Closure Route 1, 103, 107, 108, 110 and Blue Line – Begins Monday, May 11th:

Beginning Monday, May 11th, West Superior Street from M&H (8th Avenue West) to 18th Avenue West will be closed for reconstruction. During this time Routes 1, 103, 107, 108, 110 & Blue Line will detour as follows:

Westbound (From Downtown to Lincoln Park) Routes 1, 103, 107, 108 & Blue Line: Regular route to Superior Street and 6th Avenue West, then detour by turning right on 6th Avenue West and follow to 1st Street, turn left on 1st Street and follow to 21st Avenue West, turn right on 21st Avenue West and resume regular route. (Route 1, see below)

Route 1 will turn left on 21st Avenue West and follow to Superior Street, turn right on Superior Street and resume regular route.

Eastbound (From Lincoln Park to Downtown) Routes 103, 107, 108 & Blue Line: Regular route to 21st Avenue West and 1st Street, then detour by turning left on 1st Street and follow to 6th Avenue West, turn right on 6th Avenue West and follow to Superior Street, turn left on Superior Street and resume regular route. (Route 1, see below)

Eastbound Route 1 (From Lincoln Park to Downtown): Regular route to Superior Street and 21st Avenue West, then detour by turning left on 21st Avenue West and follow to 1st Street, turn right on 1st Street and follow to 6th Avenue West, turn right on 6th Avenue West and follow to Superior Street, turn left on Superior Street and resume regular route.

Temporary bus stops will be placed along 1st Street in the Lincoln Park area during this detour.

Routes 110 From Duluth MN. to Superior WI.: Regular route to Superior Street and 5th Avenue West, then detour by turning left on 5th Avenue West and follow to the ramp to Railroad Street. At the bottom of the ramp turn left onto Railroad Street and follow to Garfield Avenue, turn left on Garfield Avenue and resume regular route to Superior WI.

Routes 110 From Superior WI. to Duluth MN.: Regular route to Garfield Avenue and Railroad Street, then detour by turning right on Railroad Street and follow to the ramp to 5th Avenue West, at the top of the ramp turn left onto 5th Avenue West and follow to Superior Street, turn right on Superior Street and resume regular route to DTC.

This detour is expected to last approximately one month.

On Tuesday, May 5^th, East 4^th Street will be closed from 15^th Avenue East to 19^th Avenue East for the continuation of the lead water line replacement project in the City of Duluth. During this time Route 104 buses will detour as follows:

 Route 104 to UMD: Buses will run regular route to East 4^th Street and 14^th Avenue East, then detour by turning right on 14^th Avenue East and follow to 2^nd Street, turn left on 2^nd Street and follow to 19^th Avenue East, turn left on 19^th Avenue East and follow to 4^th Street, turn right on 4^th Street and return to regular route.

 Route 104 to Downtown: Buses will run regular route to East 4^th Street and 19^th Avenue East, then detour by turning left on 19^th Avenue East and follow to 3^rd Street, turn right on 3^rd Street and follow to 14^th Avenue East, turn right on 14^th Avenue East and follow to 4^th Street, turn left on 4^th Street and return to regular route.

Passengers are directed to use alternate bus stops along 4th Street during the road clsoure.

This detour is expected to last one to two weeks, at which point the closure will move west on 4^th Street, requiring a detour adjustment.
